İSKEN Sugözü Power Plant (1308 MW installed capacity) meets approximately 3% of our country's electricity consumption (9 billion kWh/year). A combined renewable photovoltaic solar power electricity generation plant (21 MWp) was recently installed. Our Power Plant has been operated in accordance with international technical and environmental standards. It has high-efficiency ash removal systems, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) units and denitrification (DENOX) systems. The mechanical energy obtained by passing the superheated steam obtained from the subcritical pressure class boiler technology through high pressure, intermediate pressure and low pressure steam turbines is converted into electrical energy by the generator connected to the same shaft.
